Aai's and Baba's Turning to Dad's and Mom's

Recently there has been a spurt of people who weren't net savvy at all coming to Facebook and other Social Sites. With that there has also been spurt of people who laugh at them or are disappointed with what they Post. And people who are close to them refuse to help them do the right thing sometimes (I am one of them sometimes). Even admit that they are embarrassed by them at times. But I have begun to understand a little about that and I understand it as our mistake or mistakes of those who have taught them how to use it. They are just trying to adjust in a world which is moving at a rabbits pace. While they have gotten old now and are trying to understand it with a pace of a tortoise because frankly its all hocus pocus to them.

From that somebody I know are some of my closest. Sometimes they post irrelevant things, Sometimes click on somethings they should not, Or post something with a lot of spelling mistakes. Yes it does get frustrating sometimes to correct the mistakes because they are a lot. Also if you point them out they refuse to correct it because they might not know how or might not care, As long as they think whatever they have said is conveyed.

When we started using the net we read all about it and learnt to use it properly. Else even with us It would have been the same story. So I guess we should try to teach them how to use it rather than feeling embarrassed or refusing to help (Been there Done that). We were at the same stage while learning about Life and they did not throw us out of the house or admitted getting embarrassed by Us when we were kids. They just had that patience to let us learn. I guess even we should give them a chance.

Often Money and Love are on opposing sides but they have a common aspect I.e. "It is never enough".

The OMG Way

Well this is not a review of any kind of the Movie titled OMG. This are just my views expressed after watching and trying to get influenced by the same. If I have hurt anybody by these views please Forgive and Forget. 

The writer has truly expressed what we question every day. Is there a God? If he is why don't we see him or feel him. Eventually a human relies on his five senses to perceive things. So If we cant touch, see, smell him where is he? If we do believe God is there and is everywhere, Even in the smallest atom to the largest of things then why Do we find ourselves Finding God in Temples, Masjids, Churches. We can find him in ourselves can't we. I am not opposed to the Idea of a place where we can connect to God. May be we can do it in the places mentioned above. We can meditate there and find the Good (God) in Us. 

Another view expressed there is the idea of donations and offerings. Be it Money, Food or anything. I personally have offered it many a times. In terms of Flowers or Coconuts, Putting it in the Donations Box. But we are so engrossed in our own lives

after that we forget about whether it was used properly. If we say a temple is a meeting destination for people who want to connect to God if that money we donate is used for the Temple I can understand it. That's some money we have invested in building up a infrastructure. If they claim to be given to the helpless do we ensure that it is really given to the helpless. I see a lot of people giving alms to the needy from the car. I never do that unless I see that the person is really needy and helpless and can't make money for himself. Otherwise we are just making that person lazy. He / She will do that for the rest of his life without doing a cents work. We are no better than people who make people do these things. Instead better people are the ones who generate Employment who make these people work.

God made us in his Image. Have we ever heard any God fight with another God of a Different Religion. Why Do we? There are so many good things we can take from Different Religions. Christians have such Wonderful silence in their churches where a person can really think and reflect. Muslims eat from the same plate in a family which might be to indicate that everybody is family nobody is left out. Hinduism preaches that a person can attain a level close to God. Greeks believed God would get more powerful if more people prayed to them. So actually they were dependent on Man and Man was dependent upon them to solve their problems which they could not handle. These are but many examples. All I am trying to say is Why cannot we take good things from all and try to incorporate them into ourselves to make ourselves a better person. Since God made us in His image he should be or could be as adjustable or as forgiving as Man. There are many people who call God in the Royal Plural. My Dad always used to point out to me that people we call using the Royal Plurals are not Close to Us. I never addressed God in the Royal Plural "Aap" after that. I feel God is a friend of mine. And I am not used to calling my friends "Aap" unless its in a sarcastic way. Also If God is a friend why do we fear him. Even I do it I admit. I have always heard this phrase and ignored it "We are God Fearing People. Not God Loving People." That's is what makes us think that we can make offering to Gods and appease him to absolve us of our sins.

Also another thing that is said correctly and properly is Never take away Religion from a Man he will make you his God and establish another. Take for Example Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. I have immense respect for that man for who he was. But then people have twisted his teachings in the wrong way. He saw some bad qualities in Hinduism and so converted to being a Buddhists. People today do convert to Buddhism but then have his Idol installed into a temple and worship him. He was just a man who sought to change how people think. Instead of thinking differently people have adapted to what he said in their own way. 

I know while saying all this I might be considered to be on the verge of Blasphemy but I feel sometimes and I know another person who shares my view that God and Religion was made by somebody very smart because he saw that without them Humanity would descend into Chaos. Simple thing a man who fears God will think twice about committing a Sin.

Well I do personally believe there is some being be it alien or God like whatever is written that watches over Us. I also continue to worship Idols just for my Loved ones because they believe in it. Everybody worships him in different ways. I actually love reading Mythological content. Be it any religion.

God left us here on Earth to unveil our Destiny which we ourselves are supposed to make. So do not run to him for help every time. Eventually people realized that and we also have it as a phrase.

God helps those who helps themselves.
